Shangshu Pavilion

Mr. Xue Jun and his wife Zhao Shuwen have, over the past thirty years,

traveled across China and various parts of the United Kingdom,

collecting more than ten thousand volumes of books,

including Chinese and foreign literary classics, biographies, human geography works, and historical documents.

To promote culture and give back to society for readers, with the great support of their family,

they intend to establish a public welfare library,

which is personally named "Shangshu Pavilion" by Mr. Xue Jun's father, the venerable Mr. Xue.

This kind act by Mr. Xue Jun originates from his childhood dream and his nostalgia for the flourishing reading culture of the 1980s.

His pure heart, which never forgets his original aspiration, is truly admirable.
